TheSr.Implementation Specialist isa proactive team player who can use acquired knowledge in technical consultation, excellent communication/problem solving and customer service skills to successfully deployTopcon Healthcare software solutionsto customers at a highly technical level. This position acts as a technical resource for more junior implementation specialists

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills, a strong customer service and engagement ability, some project management experience, a quick learner, and is technically savvy. The Implementation Specialist will manage the overall execution for delivering a high-quality implementation at the Customer site. The person must possess a balance of analytical problem solving and strong interpersonal and relationship development skills. This role will also be able to act as a resource for the sales team to answer any type of technical question during the sales cycle and will be able to help with RFPs, RFIs, security documentation, etc.

The primary role of an Sr. Implementation Specialist is to ensure that all project outlines/timelines and implementation processes are met and are suitable to customer's requirements and business environment, perform software installations, perform customer training, assist with other Professional Service team member's implementations, and perform troubleshooting.

CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Executes implementation project plans, at the direction of a Project Manager, based on customer needs, resources, and timelines as part of a project team.
  • Perform remote install, configuration, and customer training.
  • Manage time and resources to facilitate multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Ensures customer success and satisfaction in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information and task status using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Continually investigates product and gains industry knowledge to improve performance and skill set.
  • Work independently to accomplish tasks to meet performance requirements
  • Contributes to team effort by ensuring the highest possible level of customer happiness by understanding the needs of the customer with intuitive or directive conversation and questioning techniques.
  • Assists product team in predicting project risks and assists in Root Cause Analysis when unforeseen issues/risks threaten the success of the project.
  • Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements
  • Escalate systemic/application issues
  • Provide weekly reports/updates of assigned tasks and progress to project manager/management.
  • Provide product demonstrations onsite/online to support project milestones as well as to support sales team.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience required
  • Aptitude to quickly become a THS software product expert.
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of computer network infrastructure (on-premise and Cloud), SQL, DICOM and HL7, VPN, MS Azure, AWS
  • 5+ years of Professional Service/Client Service interface or equivalent experience and
  • 5+ years of software implementation/integration
  • 5+ years testing and documenting software implementations/integrations
  • basic project management skills and ability to manage several implementation projects at any given time
  • Ideal candidate is MS Azure/AWS certified or has the willingness to become certified within first 6 month
  • Ideal candidate is HL7 certified or has the willingness to become certified within first 6 month
