About the Role
In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
Within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, the Office of the CFO practice offers solutions to manage our client's CFO inbox for a company and help maximize its performance to position them for success to meet today's increasing challenges. This role will be a critical team member to help lead and execute client engagements.
What You'll Do
• Support / Lead engagements for Enterprise Performance Management (including Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A), Corporate Close & Consolidation, Internal/Management and External Reporting, Finance Master Data Management Account Reconciliations, Tax Reporting, and/or Profitability & Cost Management) process and system assessments and developing technology-led transformation in the planning and forecasting process and enhancing management reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to plan, design and execute finance technology transformation initiatives and manage progress and compliance with scope
• Provide content/functional knowledge and expertise related to general finance / accounting subject areas
• Manage engagement deliverables that includes documented FP&A related processes, reports and EPM solutions design
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business functions, and system integrators to drive implementation progress including cross-module integration and reporting
• Perform hands-on solution design analysis, solution architecture assessment and roadmap creation for finance planning and analytics, consolidation and analytics
• Perform platform assessment for clients to suggest best suited Finance platform for client's needs for finance planning and analytics, consolidation and analytics
• Document use case for descriptive and predictive analytics in the context of FP&A and business finance
• Play a key role in Finance IT practice development initiatives, recruiting, training/development of junior staff, ‘Lunch and Learns', capital/white papers and other critical practice building activities

The ideal candidate in this role will bring deep functional expertise in Finance and/or Accounting (including FP&A and/or Controller experience) with combination of on-point technology experience in assessing, designing and implementing financial management systems (EPM, ERP, Reporting tools) in a corporate or management consulting environment.
Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years of combined finance and strategic consulting experience and a bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Management Information Systems, or related Business / IT discipline.
• Hands-on experience with EPM / FP&A implementations and assessments
• Solid understanding of the Finance functions, its capabilities and supporting technology systems
• Fluency in key Finance processes and best practices (Business Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Modeling, Financial Close & Consolidation Processes, Working Capital Management, Cash Management & Forecasting Internal/Management and External Reporting, Finance Master Data Management Account Reconciliations, Tax Reporting, Profitability & Cost Management etc.)
• Project Management expertise in at least one EPM / FP&A tool (Oracle Planning Cloud, Hyperion, OneStream, Adaptive (Workday) and Anaplan, etc.)
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate with both Finance and IT functions to all levels of staff and management in a client facing environment, creating strategies and/or blueprints that define the finance operating model, process automation, and analytics solution
• Optimizing CFO's ability to organize and analyze financial, operational and external information to create substantial shareholder value
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)
