About The Opportunity
FTI is looking for senior staff with significant experience at the Securities & Exchange Commission for our Forensic Accounting and Advisory Services practice within our Forensic and Litigation Consulting group. The candidate would be responsible for growing the Forensic Accounting Advisory practice in the local market. This practice provides various accounting advisory services including forensic accounting, litigation services, restatements, investigations involving financial controversies, fraud investigations and corporate compliance programs.

Characteristics
- Fifteen plus years of accounting and investigation experience
- Seven plus years at the Securities & Exchange Commission, either in the
- Enforcement Division, the Office of the Chief Accountant or the Division of Corporation Finance
- Proven experience as a strong leader of accounting teams involving a wide array of matters
- Well respected by fellow staff and clients
- Very "hands on" professional
- Ability to attract and build a team of accountants in respective geography
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certified Public Accountant
