We are looking for economist and finance professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide litigation consulting support. Qualified candidates should have a solid understanding of valuation, accountancy, finance and economics. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. Senior Consultants will contribute to develop an approach to projects, or parts of large projects, alongside senior members of the team. They are responsible for anticipating, identifying and resolving issues and keeping the senior project team up to date with progress. Senior Consultants are responsible for undertaking the analysis used in, and contributing to, the preparation of formal reports. Responsibilities include providing analytical skills in various client situations.

Commercial disputes - Financial product matters (including securities, options, MBS, derivatives, and AML).
- Intellectual property matters, Antitrust, Labor and Employment
- Valuation, restructuring, and solvency matters (including ability to pay, alter ego, fraudulent conveyance, and solvency)

Primary Duties:
- Supervises and performs day-to-day activities in support of forensic and litigation consulting projects including interaction with client personnel, other team members, and professionals from other firms involved in the engagement.
- Performs technical, industry, and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information, develops work plans and executes analyses to assess complex questions of fact, assists in preparing reports and schedules summarizing findings that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
- Applies economic, financial, valuation, and analytical skills to various client situations
- Be able to conduct research in an efficient way, both independently and as part of a team. Ideally you will be familiar with sources and tools such as Bloomberg, the Markets/Capital IQ and Thomson Reuters.
- Organizes information to facilitate effective data access and analysis
- Supervises more junior team members' analyses
- Maintains detailed working paper records reflecting assumptions, methods, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks.
- Delivers a high-quality product within established timeframes and budgets
Prepares written presentations, exhibits, and other reports for third parties on the project scope and/or results of activities - Develops and maintains productive working relationships with client personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred Skills:
- Three plus years of economic modeling/research or finance experience
- Strong understanding of the principal concepts in some or all of: valuation, accountancy, finance and economics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
- Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in an ever changing environment to meet client needs
- Ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously while managing time and budget
- Good project management skills with prior experience managing teams and developing others
- Proficient with PC environments and related software, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Proficient use and analysis of computer models and development of dynamic spreadsheet applications
- Desire to work towards ABV, CFF, CFA, CFE, CPA, ASA, CVA or other professional designation
