Title: Accreditation Standards Administrator Department: Department of Accreditation Standards Reports To: Vice President, Accreditation Standards Work Schedule: Full-Time Job Summary: The ACGME is currently seeking an Accreditation Standards Administrator to support the activities of the Accreditation Standards Team. As a member of the Accreditation Standards Team, the Accreditation Standards Administrator will provide support to the Review Committee teams, Requirement Development Team (RDT) and the ACGME Committee on Requirements (CoR). Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Reviewing documents submitted for CoR review, including revised Program Requirements, Impact Statements, Compilation of Comments, and FAQs to ensure that all necessary information has been provided in the proper format. Accurately reflecting proposed Program Requirement changes using Microsoft Word’s Tracked Changes function and manual tracking of changes. Preparing draft program application forms when new or revised specialty requirements are approved. Maintaining the Requirements tracking system with information regarding requirement revision review and approval, and effective dates. Updating any/all applicable Program Requirements to include changes approved by the CoR/Board. Forwarding documents ready for posting to the Webmaster in a timely manner, and ensuring the notification of this posting is sent via the e-Communication e-newsletter. When the Common Program Requirements are revised: Assisting in the compilation of public comments on proposed revisions to the Common Program Requirements Incorporating changes to the Common Program Requirements into specialty and subspecialty Program Requirement documents; ensuring that updated Requirements documents are posted online Updating specialty-specific FAQ documents as needed to reflect changes to the Common Program Requirements Reviewing specialty-specific applications as needed to ensure consistency with the Common Program Requirements and associated ADS data collection elements Scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders Managing logistics of virtual meetings including but not limited to meeting set up, security, participant and recording settings. Supporting Board appointed Task Forces related to Common Program Requirement development Maintaining a record of RDT recommendations at each RDT meeting and preparing a draft of RDT feedback to the applicable Review Committee. Reviewing FAQs and program applications against the applicable Program Requirements to ensure the approved format is followed and that requirement references are accurate. Preparing ad hoc reports relating to the Program Requirements. Interacting regularly with Review Committee staff members, as well as with the ACGME Webmaster and the ACGME Editor. Other duties as assigned. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience skills and experience required. Must be attentive to detail for thorough review of Requirements and FAQ's to ensure accuracy. Must be deadline-oriented, skilled in working under tight timelines, and comfortable balancing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously using a flexible approach. Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of people. Must demonstrate strong technical knowledge of the following: Microsoft Word including but not limited to Tracked Changes, Multilevel lists, formatting. Microsoft Outlook including but not limited to scheduling, multi-inbox management. Adobe Acrobat including but not limited to file conversion, file compilations, bookmarking. Microsoft Excel including but not limited to tables and data entry. Zoom including but not limited to meeting set up and security, recording meetings, sharing slides and documents, managing participants, chat and breakout rooms. Preferred Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Equipment: Position requires the significant use of standard office equipment, such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse, photo copier, scanner, telephone, etc. Working Conditions: Most of the work of the Accreditation Standards Administrator is done in the Chicago office of the ACGME with the typical physical demands of an office environment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, ACGME employees are working remotely until further notice. The Accreditation Standards Administrator will need to be able to efficiently and effectively work remotely. While performing the duties of this job, the Accreditation Standards Administrator: Will frequently be required to sit in meetings for long periods of time. Will frequently be required to participate in meetings via Zoom or other video conferencing platforms. Note, this is particularly relevant while working remotely. Will frequently be required to sit and work for extended periods of time at a computer terminal using various computer programs and other computer tools.
