Recruiter and Compensation Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW
Under general direction, responsible for full-life cycle recruiting, identifying, screening, and recommending candidates to positions at the ACGME, by using creative and proactive sourcing methods (internal and external). This position is responsible for attracting top-tier candidates and building and maintaining a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses the needs of the ACGME; screening and creating pools of skilled applicants representing diverse demographics and completing full-cycle recruiting through offer and onboarding compliance; and ensuring quality and consistency in recruiting and hiring by analyzing compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, and by managing the onboarding process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs ongoing recruitment activities, including advertising positions, sourcing applicants, evaluating applicant qualifications, screening applicants, conducting screening interviews, and scheduling interviews.
- Serves as a primary contact between the ACGME and applicants.
- In partnership with the Manager, Recruiting and Compensation, prepares offer letters for candidates, negotiating employment offers as necessary ensuring all job offers adhere to the ACGME Compensation Philosophy and hiring guidelines.
- Conducts internal equity and cost analyses for setting salary offers; benchmark job offers against market surveys and internal comparable position(s) data.
- Develops pipeline of active and passive talent through networking, professional contacts, and internal candidates.
- Manages onboarding process from the time-of-offer through New Employee Orientation, including periodic check-ins for the initial 90 days of employment.
- Partners with hiring managers to develop and use appropriate behavioral and skill-based interview questions.
- Leads development and revision of all job descriptions.
- As needed, assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or non-exempt and appropriate salary range.
- Administers pre-employment testing and assesses results to determine applicant fit for specific roles.
- With Manager, Recruiting and Compensation, identifies, researches, and selects agencies for temporary placements; serves as the ACGME interface with agency representatives.
- Prepares Affirmative Action data tables for each year-long period, collecting data on all candidates, new hires, promotions, and terminations and provides this to external partners who will develop the ACGME’s Affirmative Action plan.
- With the Manager, Recruiting and Compensation maintains and reports on metrics associated with the recruiting and acquisition process using multiple applications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Five years’ professional experience as a corporate recruiter, preferably in hospital, health care, or a degreed academic setting
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, preferably business management or human resources
- Two years’ experience using ADP Workforce Now or another talent acquisition system
- Skilled with maintaining data integrity and navigating online document management systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products or similar applications
Preferred
- Prior experience as an HR generalist
- Prior experience in analyzing jobs, developing job descriptions, and pricing open positions
- Experience in project/program management

- This position is based in a typical office environment with no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
