Position Description:
The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is accountable for the introduction, development and execution of sales product training for new and current product offerings. The position will report to the TSS Manager for direction to ensure the overall regional strategic goals are met. This will be achieved with the assistance and support of the RSM in their respective regions. This individual is responsible for providing leadership, direction, hands-on coachingtraining to the Topcon Ag Distribution partners and Regional Sales Managers. The position will also provide dealer training; dealer pre (70%) and post (30%) sales support assistance, and some end-user support for strategic clients. Leading local user groups and generally taking the technical lead for regional sales issues that have been identified through the Ag Support escalation process.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface with distributor sales people
- Lead sales training events
- On-site distributor product training
- Infield demonstrations in conjunction with dealer personnel to win major account sales
- Develop distribution dealer's knowledge on new Topcon Ag solutions
- Work with RM on assigned objectives to increase presale and post-sale support.
- Provides secondary sales support to end user customer issues that have been identified through the Ag Support Channel and Regional Sales Manager (escalated cases).
- Respond to, prioritize, follow-up and resolves customers questions/issues as per defined by the Director of OEM and Aftermarket Sales
- Participate in regional farm showevents
- Provide input on competitive products and activities
- Always portray a professional company image.
- Provide in-depth presales demonstrations
- Participate in new product releases and beta cycles to ensure information and training requirements are met to support new product sales to dealers. Provides front line pre- and post-sales support via phone and email
- Strategic OEMAccount involvement where needed.

Desired Background:
- AS Degree in Agribusiness, agronomy, equipment mechanization, or Ag engineering, plus 5 years of experience in precision ag solutions, guidance, water management and Ag equipment sales or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated technical capability with a strong competency with Ag field and office software.
