Saint Luke's Health System Primary Care Clinics are looking for a Medical Assistants (Certified or Non Certified) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty or primary care physician practice. This position is full time Monday-Friday (some Saturdays), with no holidays. Position is typically day hours (8am-5pm).
Hiring for the Mission Farms (Overland Park, KS) location.
Specific duties include:
• Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals
• Phlebotomy as needed
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines
• Assist providers with procedures
• Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents
• Complete various administrative tasks as needed such as prior authorizations, RX refills, etc.
• Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)
• Cover front office responsibilities as needed
• Travel between Saint Luke's clinic locations is required when needed (mileage eligible)
