Kitchen Steward - Saint Luke's South - Morning Shift

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park is currently looking for a Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) who will be responsible for quickly and efficiently performing dishwashing and other food service duties We offer a competitive pay and benefits package as well as tuition and continuing education assistance - this is a great position whether you are in school or have an extensive food service or dishwashing background.

The Shift:

  • Full-Time Position
  • Five day work week
  • Shift Times - 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:00pm
  • Work Week - Monday to Friday & Rotating Weekends (Every other weekend)
  • Rotating holidays

The Work:

  • Washing dishes from cooks and room service
  • Receiving room service and cook dishes
  • Taking out trash and boxes from delivery for your area
  • Sweeping and mopping kitchen area
  • Completing other cleaning duties in the kitchen area
  • Collecting rehab cart from Rehab Institute and bringing back to the main kitchen area
  • Assisting in other Food Service and Cashier responsibilities as necessary

There are a variety of roles available within Nutrition and can include Food Runner, Tray Line, Food Prep, Dishwasher, Store Room, and more. The ideal candidate values teamwork and has great customer service. You'll need to be able to work quickly and efficiently.
