The Precision for Medicine team develops assays and runs global logistics for Clinical Trials by using biomarkers to stratify patients, incomparably improving R&D efficiency and success for our clients. How you will make a difference:
  • Perform Flow cytometry primarily, as well as, other immune assays
  • Perform experiments, independently and accurately analyze and present data
  • Assist in establishing and improving all procedures and required SOP documentation
  • Identify, update and implement emerging laboratory techniques
  • Maintain and support safe lab practices and environment
  • Act as a scientific resource externally to clients and internally
  • Assists with writing, reviewing and editing contract and grant applications/proposals as appropriate
  • May present completed work at appropriate scientific meetings and in publications

What You'll Need:

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Life Sciences, Biology, or other related discipline) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 years of prior related laboratory experience

Other Required:
  • Experience with flow cytometry assays using both whole blood or isolated cells
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
  • The ability to organize and analyze data and assist in preparation of reports
  • Possess strong computational skills, preferably experienced with Word, Excel, Power Point, GraphPad Prism, Diva, and Flowjo
  • Excellent use of discernment and discretion required
  • Extended work hours may be occasionally necessary in order to meet business demands
  • Ability to see and differentiate between colors on the full color spectrum
  • Ability to lift and carry between 1-15 lbs.; frequently required to sit, grasp, and use right/left finger dexterity; May be exposed to a cold freezer environment (Freezer temperatures range between -20ºC -196ºC)
  • Able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language

Preferred:
  • A deep understanding of current GLP or CAP/CLIA/ISO standards
  • Experience with FACS techniques
  • Experience in cell-mediated immunity through flow cytometry, as well as, ELISpot, ELISA, MSD, and/or Luminex
