Overview

Vision Technologies, a growing system integrator, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Security Business Unit. Seeking Candidates in the Maryland/DC/Virginia Region

Responsibilities

The role of a Security Project Coordinator is to support the Security Business Unit in the day-to-day activities through the entire project lifecycle to include but not limited to the following activities:

Pre-Sales Phase Activities:
• Create new customer and engagement records in project systems software (VIMS) and all associated network directories.
• Ensure necessary documentation is in appropriate project file directories
• Participate in Sales Hand Off from Sales to Delivery

Planning Phase Activities:
• Administrative QA Tasks
o Validate alignment of PO, Contract, Proposal, and PnL
o Ensure pre-sales costs captured and tracked in job costs.
o Ensure VIMS records accurate: invoicing, customer, contract info, project team.
o Create additional engagements for warranty and maintenance agreements.
• Control/change project status in VIMS
• Participate in Work Package creation
• Participate in Kick Off meetings with project team.
• Contract review and understanding
• Generate purchase requests for materials, subs, rentals, etc

Delivery Phase Activities:
• Hold PM's accountable to project metrics for invoicing and In Process Quality Control (IPQC) compliancy as well as other project data exercises
• Process change orders
• Control/change project status in VIMS
• Draft Work Packages
• Build and review AIA's
• Project invoicing
• Participate in Kick Off meetings with project team.
• Contract review and understanding
• Generate purchase requests for materials, subs, rentals, etc
• Review job cost reports with PM's
• Draft and submit RMA's

Closing Phase Activities:
• Control/change project status in VIMS
• Final invoicing and AR follow up (if necessary)
• Coordinate final documentation packages
• Draft Work Packages

• Build and review AIA's from template
• Project invoicing
• Participate in Kick Off meetings with project team.
• Contract review and understanding
• Generate purchase requests for materials, subs, rentals, etc
• Review job cost reports with PM's
• Draft and submit RMA's

Qualifications

• AA, higher degree in related field preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with other engineering disciplines
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including above average skills in Excel.
