The Frederick National Laboratory is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and operated by Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. The lab addresses some of the most urgent and intractable problems in the biomedical sciences in cancer and AIDS, drug development and first-in-human clinical trials, applications of nanotechnology in medicine, and rapid response to emerging threats of infectious diseases.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Environment, Health and Safety Program is responsible for environmental protection, occupational safety and health, protective services, and emergency preparedness programs at National Cancer Institute at Frederick and Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide safe roundtrip shuttle service from building 426 on the Fort Detrick campus to NIH Bethesda campus or between building 426 and the ATRF campus
  • Must have a good driving record and be able to drive government vehicles
  • Maintain clean operational shuttle service

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to commit to a 3:00-8:00pm M-F shift
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
