About The Role

This role reports to the Leader of HR Shared Services. The Global Human Resources Solutions Director will be a thought partner on all things HR Solutions and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Global HR Solutions' Associate & Generalist teams. This role will oversee the expansion, resourcing, and training of the HR Solution Center and Segment/Country aligned Generalist team on a global scale. They will help coach and mentor HR Solutions Managers responsible for leading these teams in streamlining global processes to deliver a consistent global employee experience. This role will also help oversee the offshoring of repeatable, transactional work to a low-cost location (India), eventually migrating parts of the HR Solution Center to this destination. What You'll Do

The Global Human Resources Solutions Director will provide project management, coaching, talent development and thought leadership directly within the GHRSC and indirectly across the greater Core Ops groups. They will be responsible leading global projects that impact both Core Operations groups and the Segments directly, with significant focus on change management and task delegation. They will be directly responsible for oversight of transformative HR processes. They work as the primary liaison between the HR Solutions group and the other Core Operations groups and Segments within FTI.

Duties and responsibilities of this position shall include:
  • Manage and provide solutions to resolve complex operational challenges, supporting better business decisions by connecting colleagues that are working on similar initiatives, pulling together teams that require input from multiple areas within the firm.
  • Oversight of the packaging and offshoring of transactional processes to newly developed low-cost center.
  • Development of new hybrid support model consisting of both in-country and segment aligned Generalist resources.
  • Lead transformation projects across the organization to influence outcomes and to foster long-term partnerships across Departments, Segments, and Regions.
  • Promote the migration of work to the HR Solutions team including leave mgmt., talent development operations support, etc.
  • Oversee coaching, development, and training of direct reports and, indirectly, all members of the GHRSC team. Calculate and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships by partnering with Core Ops and business leaders to develop and drive operational initiatives that are critical to organizational success.
  • Bring together multiple stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Develop staff to create talent pool and succession planning in the areas of HR Business Partner support, Global Mobility, Benefits, Compensation, etc.
  • Delegate projects whenever possible to team members to provide development and stretch opportunities to expand team's technical expertise.
  • Provide complex and high-level reporting, including strategy slides/decks, suitable for top level leaders across a variety of functions to support business decisions.
  • Develop and execute change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of all facets of day-to-day operations of the HR Solutions team.
  • Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory changes that affect the firm and implement changes in response as necessary (e.g., AAP, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), OFCCP, EEO, pay history question bans, 'ban the box' etc.) to address and reduce risk.
  • Work alongside business leads and human capital stakeholders to determine current and future operational / project requirements to ensure that business needs are accurately represented in the project queue.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University.
  • 8+ years of experience working in a leadership role.
  • At least 8 years of experience working in an HR Solutions role, with at least 4 years' experience with project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence others. Experience with executive level communication.
  • Strong preference for candidates who have come from an internal HR shared services role or a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, simultaneous complex HR projects independently and to leverage contributions of direct reports and team members to accomplish projects.
