The Frederick National Laboratory is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and operated by Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. The lab addresses some of the most urgent and intractable problems in the biomedical sciences in cancer and AIDS, drug development and first-in-human clinical trials, applications of nanotechnology in medicine, and rapid response to emerging threats of infectious diseases.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Enterprise Systems group (BES) oversees the strategic vision and implementation plan for IT systems and solutions for the enterprise at Leidos Biomedical Research, the operational information and data systems support to Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement workflows and create dashboards using M365 tools - PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Sharepoint Online (SPO), PowerBI, and MS Teams
• Provide solutions for the Frederick National Lab user community to include business and scientific operations
• Provision, create, enhance and maintain SPO sites to support operational and scientific content management and workflows
• Implement M365 tools to solve business and scientific process automation requirements, driving efficiency across the enterprise
• Work with community to derive requirements and populate feature backlog for successful tool delivery
• Develop site concepts, interface design, and architecture of the SharePoint Online sites
• Provision M365 tools for FNL community, e.g. SPO sites, MS Teams
• Provide support to the user community and suggest governance for the M365 environment
• Develop SharePoint ribbon, custom lists, sites, subsites, and document libraries (understanding of taxonomy and SharePoint Best Practices is vital)
• Create custom applications using MS Power platform (Power apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education)
• Foerign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
• No work experience required beyond a Bachelor's degree
• Experience creating custom lists, features, web parts, event handlers, workflows, and master pages
• Some programming knowledge - exposure to Object Oriented development
• Analytical skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional experience developing and enhancing corporate intranet using Sharepoint or SharepointOnline
• Experience with Javascript, SQL
