Vision's Security Practice is a full-service electronic security systems integrator focused on commercial customers and facilities. Vision provides security solutions and services including design, installation, service, maintenance, and managed services to key industries across the United States. Vision's security teams design, deploy, and maintain various security systems including access control, video, intrusion detection, visitor management, and 2-way audio.
The Field Engineer is a key position which will work closely with project teams and other stakeholders to integrate electronic security solutions.

The Field Engineer is a key position which will work closely with project teams and other stakeholders to integrate electronic security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced tech support to field delivery teammates both in the field and lab environments
- Configure s oftware, s ervers, and advanced end point devices
- Consult with and train end users on utilization of advanced features of solutions that we provide
- Assist in database maintenance and migration for system upgrades
- Provide input to Solutions Architects from real world utilization of our channel partner's products/solutions
- Assess as-built and/or design and provide recommendations to remediate or avoid technical issues
- Understand and participate in IPQC process
- Understand and adhere to labor category budgets
- Provide SME level technical support to all technicians
- Blueprint, specifications and data sheet reading/research
- Maintain certifications for our Tier 1 channel products/solutions
- Communicate with project manager on outstanding issues, punch list items and client needs both verbally and in daily reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years' experience installing, programming and integration of ACS, CCTV and IDS security systems on large/complex projects
- Highly organized, and effective time management skills0
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate in a direct, concise manner in both verbal and written interactions
- Ability to effectively communicate and develop working relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient MS Office and all required manufacturer software
- Expert knowledge and certifications in at least (4) of the following manufacturers including (1) enterprise/design level certification: Genetec, Lenel, S2 Netbox , AMAG, Axis , Hanwha - Wisenet , Milestone, Galaxy , Verkada
- Expert level electronic security skills in design, install, troubleshooting and testing
- Expert level understanding of all industry and company QA/QC standards
- Expert level in networking protocols
- Base Salary Range- $75,000- $115,000.
Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant.
