FTI Consulting's Core Operations functions provide support to our client service professionals so they are able meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Professionals within our Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Office Infrastructure, Legal, and Real Estate teams are dedicated to working together and delivering world class support across our global community.
Position Description
The GHRSC associate is responsible for supporting the daily operational aspects of the programs, policies, and processes of FTI's key HR transactions including new hires, terminations, employment status/job data changes, benefits processes, and the data integrity of the PeopleSoft 9.1 system.
Duties and responsibilities of this position shall include: 1. Supports recruiting function in hiring process from initial job requisition through onboarding and supports related training program initiatives. Responsible for assisting candidates through the automated onboarding system and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
2. Supports employee lifecycle transactional processing from hire through retire for global employee base.
3. Monitors case management tools and workflow process for inquiries and transactional requests created by employees, HR Business Partners and managers.
4. Creates documentation for job data changes, maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database. Maintains HR records in document management system.
5. Provides analytical support for compliance auditing efforts. 6. Maintains compliance with company policies, as well as country, U.S. federal and state regulations concerning employment.
7. Responsible for documenting process changes, as well as creating and maintaining SOP's for global processes.
8. Contributes to and maintains HR information knowledge base, to include FAQs, quick reference guides, knowledge articles and operations manuals.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year College or University
• At least 2 years of experience providing process or transactional support in a service center environment or customer focused support role
• Experience across multiple HR functions including HR data updates, payroll, benefits, compensation, and recruiting a plus. • Demonstrated team player skills.
Professional Skill Requirements
• Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS, version 9.1 or higher preferred. Ability to process PeopleSoft HR events, run reports and interpret/analyze data outputs.
• Experience troubleshooting across multiple platforms/systems - demonstrated technical ability.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for measuring results through data and metrics a must.
• Ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment and manage own work to meet deadlines.
• Some HR shared services or customer service experience a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio applications.
