FTI Consulting's Core Operations functions provide support to our client service professionals so they are able meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Professionals within our Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Office Infrastructure, Legal, and Real Estate teams are dedicated to working together and delivering world class support across our global community.
PRIMARY DUTIES This position will work to develop and manage the firm-wide adoption and training program for IT services. This individual will lead initiatives and program development through a comprehensive communications, deployment and implementation plan. This position will support the Information Technology Group (ITG) by managing firm-wide adoption of deployed system improvements and platforms through training, employee engagement initiatives and strategic communications efforts. The position is responsible for setting the standards for, organizing and executing, and overseeing the group-wide go-to-market strategy for the Information Technology Group.
Organizational Change Management activities include, but are not limited to: • IT Adoption and Training Communications Strategy and Program management
• Go-To-Market strategy for IT solutions and services, and on-going Adoption and Training
• Ensuring Stakeholder Engagement • Change Impact Analysis
• Technical Operations (Service Desk, Service Delivery and End-User Support) Readiness
• Leadership Alignment
The position is expected to plan and engage in project management and end-user activities to ensure a methodical and seamless deployment of technology while promoting system and process adoption. Typical responsibilities include: • Participates in the planning of ITG technology designs and, with each ITG department head, prepare the work plan for the deployment and adoption of the technology and/or service.
• Facilitates and documents project scoping and requirements for deployment and training as a part of the overall planning process and communicating these formally to the Office of the CIO and project leadership.
• Performs service assessments to measure the adoption rate of IT technologies and services. Identifies gaps and sets forth remediation efforts to ensure improved adoption.
• Develops IT budgetary estimates and project schedules to satisfy training, deployment and adoption requirements.
• Reviews project deliverables from team members for quality and completeness.
• Creates persuasive and informative messaging that resonates with non-ITG departments and employees.
• Provides guidance to project team members from the "end-user" perspective.
• Provides guidance to ITG departments on recurring communications and strategy centralizing efforts and system notifications. (e.g. Incident Notifications, proactive maintenance notifications, improvements, etc.)
• Coordinates and oversees the execution of project assignments by team members, corporate departments and third-party vendors as it pertains to product and service adoption.
• Creates and executes communications and training plans bridging the technology-to-employee terminology gap, to ensure appropriate stakeholder awareness.
• Creates end-user and system administration documentation, user guides, training materials and presentations, SharePoint sites and similar media.
• Authors and presents training materials to facilitate end user adoption and operations support.
• Leads adoption and training activities; by example
• Develops and maintains the standards by which IT products and services are released to practitioners, and transitioned between ITG teams and departments
• Conducts comprehensive lessons learned and practitioner surveys to measure the success of deployments and training.
• Facilitates and documents assigned adoption coordination meetings. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES • Excellent communication (written & verbal), planning, organization, and administrative skills
• Demonstrable Project Management Experience
• Technical competencies - able to understand, absorb and communicate technical projects
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

• Demonstrated ability in using MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE • 4 Year Degree Required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in successfully managing projects/programs in an IT environment ADDITIONAL DUTIES
• Daily time entry to record billable and non - billable time
• As developed and coordinated upon request by supervisor
• Support other IT staff with open and unresolved issues
• Provides on-call support via cell-phone 24 x 7
• Physical labor from time to time, which may include moving equipment, furniture, etc
