FTI Consulting's Core Operations functions provide support to our client service professionals so they are able meet and exceed the needs of our clients. Professionals within our Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Office Infrastructure, Legal, and Real Estate teams are dedicated to working together and delivering world class support across our global community.
PRIMARY DUTIES This position will work to develop and obtain executive buy-in on technology strategies, technology operating models, and help FTI Consulting implement strategic IT initiatives and projects across the Global organization. This individual will consult with internal clients, external experts and peer firms, understand and define IT initiative scope, articulate alternative approaches, conduct detail analysis on capability gaps and "levers" to fill these gaps, develop executive briefing materials, conduct employee focus group workshops, engage project teams and key stakeholders, develop and execute on project plans, and develop recommendations, implementation plans and is responsible for managing and measuring the IT strategy development and execution. Strategy and Transformation activities include, but are not limited to: • Define and manage the Global IT strategy with the CIO and key stakeholders, driving innovative thinking on strategy development and problem solving
• Conduct and present research and analysis, including market, competitive, economic, industry trends, project/staff management, IT financial performance, and key operating metrics. Analyze and synthesize research; lead primary intelligence gathering as needed.
• Manage complex projects with multiple work streams and multiple executive stakeholders; coordinate and facilitate strategy discussions with senior leaders.
• Ensure the logic, accuracy, and appropriate scope of fact-bases with which to inform strategic analyses.
• Develop content for and coordinate executive and practitioner workshops and socialization.
• Manage and review the completion of detailed financial and non-financial analyses that can be used to evaluate opportunities or assist in making key strategic decisions. • Develop recommendations and approaches for strategic and operational improvements.
• Develop clear executive level communications and presentations to display and communicate strategic, operational and financial information. Develop leadership-level presentations from initial storyboarding, logical structuring, and presentation and delivery.
• Provide support to Office of the CIO leadership team as necessary
• Developing and maintaining world-class IT service delivery models, workflows, and technologies.
• Provide expertise on ITG projects and operations, helping to ensure alignment with FTI's overall goals and objectives.
• Use deep expertise in strategy and technology to structure approaches to complex problems; understand and articulate potential paths to solutions and align the right resources with the correct work streams.
• Help the CIO, and the Office of the CIO, prioritize projects through analysis and value driven prioritization analysis. Develop work plans and eliminate roadblocks.
• Translate strategies into actionable plans with clear owners, defined outcomes, and formal timing and milestone deliverables.
• Develop business scenarios and financial / operational models based on changing operating conditions and trends within FTI and ITG.
• Help define, develop, measure, track and report on key metrics and operational performance indicators for the Global IT Strategy. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

• Strong people skills
• Demonstrated expertise in using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio. PowerBI skills are a plus
• Strong facilitation skills, experienced in driving execution across multiple teams with no formal authority

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• 4 Year Degree Required, Master's Degree a plus
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred

ADDITIONAL DUTIES • Daily time entry to record billable and non-billable time
• As developed and coordinated upon request by supervisor
• Support other IT staff with open and unresolved issues
• Provides on-call availability and support via cell-phone 24 x 7 for CIO
• Physical labor from time to time, which may include moving equipment, furniture, etc
