POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for owning and managing a specified set of Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. customers. This role includes driving adoption, selling renewals, managing collections, acting as a lead generator for the enterprise imaging sales team and prospecting for net new customers. The Senior Account Manager acts as a customer advocate working closely with service, sales, marketing, and engineering to improve the product's adoption and to deliver a World Class Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. partner experience. Ideal candidate would be located in Denver, Dallas, or their surrounding areas.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for owning and managing a specified set of Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. customers. This role includes driving adoption, selling renewals, managing collections, acting as a lead generator for the enterprise imaging sales team and prospecting for net new customers. The Senior Account Manager acts as a customer advocate working closely with service, sales, marketing, and engineering to improve the product's adoption and to deliver a World Class Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. partner experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop key relationships with customers at all levels, set appropriate expectations, and repetitiously deliver on those expectations.
- Sells renewals for assigned accounts and add on software including but not limited to software, hardware and professional services.
- Act as lead generator for EI Sales team.
- Drive customer satisfaction by tracking and driving client requirements and technical solutions, understanding each client's processes, procedures, customizations and configuration to proactively manage and adopt information online, over the phone and on-site.
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with assigned customers and focus on retention and growth.
- Interact and communicate frequently over the phone and occasionally in person with key contacts for the assigned strategic accounts and provide customers with AM deliverables (reports, notifications, and status update obligations).
- Maintain strong product knowledge of the entire Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. product suite and be able to effectively advise partners regarding how to best leverage their advanced visualization solution. This includes a strong commanding knowledge of radiology information workflow and how our solutions fit within this spectrum.
- Participates in root cause analysis reviews.
- Participates in the planning, approval, and implementation of approved change management requests.
- Facilitates and develops education requirements
- Manages collections for assigned accounts.
- Inform customers on Education units available, Webinars, eService tools, etc.
- Prospect and sell to net new advanced visualization customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 5+ years customer facing experience required
- 3+ years Sales experience
- 5+ years of technical/clinical consulting in the software or medical device industry preferred
- Ability to communicate and operate across multiple functional groups internally, including international partnerships, and at customer sites to demonstrate the value of service and support solutions
- Experience managing and renewing maintenance contracts along with building and executing on account plans
- Experience in formation and implementation of project management and/or service plans in a hospital environment preferred
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically
