The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Screener to join our team. You will be the initial, positive point of contact for patient and customer encounters. The screener is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence.
Shift Details: 1:00pm-8:30pm
The Work:
We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy for those in crisis, these qualities are essential to the position. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, prioritize work, and manage interruptions easily. You will need to be able to adapt to frequently changing policies and be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment for the duration of the shift.

The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Screener to join our team. You will be the initial, positive point of contact for patient and customer encounters. The screener is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence.
Shift Details: 1:00pm-8:30pm
The Work:
- Duties include: basic office procedures, telephone and face-to-face customer communications, among other clerical duties to support patient care areas
- Will be a specified entrances within the hospital
- Conducts brief patient interviews, obtaining information around specific symptoms and exposure
- Obtains temperature and provides a masks at entry to hospital
- Grants/Limits access based on the current visitor and screening policy
- Works closely with clinical staff, admitting staff, and security
- Maintains adequate levels of supplies, punctual setup and tear down of screening stations, proper sanitizing procedures, and knowledge of facility layout
