As a Senior Director, you will leverage your background and industry experience to develop and grow the Healthcare Managed Services business. You will serve as a trusted advisor to FTI clients by providing project management, subject matter expertise, and sales/business development support for firm-wide business goals and strategies.

You will interact and work primarily with senior management, clients, and teams, assessing, analyzing, and leveraging operational and financial data to solve complex business issues for our clients. The Senior Director will collaborate with Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors in managing Healthcare Managed Services (HMS) client engagements and developing the sales pipeline. You will be accountable for your project teams and associated client relationships as well as sales targets.

Your primary responsibilities will involve managing, directing and being responsible for "non-traditional" HMS engagements which consist of engagements not typically associated with acute care inpatient and outpatient hospital services. Examples may include: in-bound/out-bound call center services, medical groups, behavioral health, radiology, eyecare, hospice, infusion, DME, home health, etc., related to 3 rd party accounts receivable remediation services.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and develop work plans, budgets, staffing and approaches for HMS non-traditional engagements.
  • Build and manage a team of contractors to follow-up and remediate non-traditional HMS engagements.
  • Serve and interact as client executive as the face to all non-traditional HMS matters.
  • Build and utilize work-flow technologies for non-traditional engagements when possible, in an effort to increase and monitor contractor productivity.
  • Utilize and manage global workforce solutions when possible, to leverage resources, increase margin and provide the best solutions for our clients.
  • Review reports from various areas, question discrepancies and implement methodologies to improve upon production and quality to meet agreed upon metrics.
  • Build and review client progress reports for accuracy and present finding to clients via bi-weekly/monthly update calls.
  • Build rapport and participate in FTI internal calls and sales opportunities to develop methodologies that provide HMS solutions to solving client issues.
  • Assist other HMS senior leaders with providing subject matter expertise and help when needed for traditional HMS 3 rd party A/R engagements.
  • Refine and develop methodologies and outputs to identify potential savings and operational improvements for clients.
  • Assist in and in some cases direct efforts to generate revenue and originate new client relationships.
  • Begin to independently develop and manage business across the segment.
  • Develop relationships with other segments of FTI to help ensure cross segment growth of the business.
  • Assist in the recruitment, retention, and management of Health Solutions and FTI contractor staff team members.
  • Develop proposals, pitch materials, and business cases for client presentations.
  • Monitor project oversight, finances, quality, and execution in partnership with Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors.
  • Assist with internal practice development opportunities as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - External

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree: in one or more business/quantitative fields (i.e., finance, accounting, economics, management, information systems, etc.) is required. Master's degree in healthcare administration preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in the revenue cycle, or professional services consulting, or relevant health care operations management.
  • Project management experience with multiple large engagements, clients or facilities required; Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Experience with both written and verbal presentations to Executive/C-Suite level client personnel that clearly articulate progress-to-goal; issues identified; and recommended solutions.
  • Demonstrated abilities to develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite representatives at targeted clients.
  • Ability to create and design solutions using the HMS model for non-traditional client opportunities.
  • Proven sales and business development experience required that grow HMS engagements.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and promote staff development.
  • Willingness to travel on occasion (travel requirements are expected to be less than 10% based on client demands).

  • Master's degree preferred.
