Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking aBehavioral Healthcare Providerwith our client. In this role, you will develop, coordinate, implement, and provide interdisciplinary services concerned with the development and integration of behavioral and biomedical science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently develop and implement treatment plans for clients.
• Coordinate the admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans throughout the client's care cycle.
• Provide interventions for acute and complex clients, including crisis intervention.
• Participate in the establishment, implementation, and direction of behavioral healthcare programs and treatment system objectives.
• Develop and design treatment intervention techniques and procedures, evaluate and modify treatment systems based on client progress.
• Evaluate the performance of lower-level providers in administering prescribed treatment plans and maintain necessary documentation to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Actively participate in treatment teams, training sessions, department procedure meetings, and policy review meetings.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services to coordinate referrals and conduct follow-up services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor's Credentialing Board.
• Or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
• Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
• Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
• Or Licensed Registered Nurse with a certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner with specialty certification in Mental Health or Psychiatry as issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal as required by relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code.

Unusual Working Conditions:

• May require unusual work schedules or arrangements.
• Potential exposure to clients who may be violent, unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.
• May require travel to community sites under contract with the Department of Mental Health.
