Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking aPhysicianto work with our client. In this role, you will perform routine and emergency medical care of non-specialized nature to patients or inmates in state facilities.

Job Duties

•Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system

•Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports

•Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing

•Managing medication

•Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated

•Making referrals for specialized care or treatment

•Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards

•Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews

•Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed

•Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour

Minimum Qualifications

•Certificate to practice medicine issued by State Medical Board.

•Board certified, or Board eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine.

•Previous experience in primary care, subacute nursing home care, or hospital medicine.

•Biannual renewal with 100 hrs. of continuing education.
