About The Role

As a key member of the finance team, the Manager of Global Revenue Accounting will develop and execute strategies to help optimize accounting operational processes, primarily in revenue recognition, aimed to reduce complexities and create efficiencies. This position will engage with Segment and Regional Finance leaders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions targeted to automate, standardize and streamline processes across regions and segments. This position will also support certain recurring processes related to global revenue reporting tools, intercompany revenue transactions, and ad-hoc technical solutioning during the monthly close.

What You'll Do
  • Support the finance-wide initiative to optimize our new ERP, primarily with regard to revenue and receivables, general ledger close, and intercompany.
  • Develop initiatives to standardize accounting processes in revenue and the general ledger.
  • Supervise development, testing and maintenance of automated accelerators in various accounting functions, including intercompany, consolidations and transactions with off-ERP financial systems.
  • Supervise data mining and analysis to create global monthly financial reporting in revenue.
  • Develop continuous training to key finance and accounting stakeholders in revenue.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate standards of internal control to ensure the accuracy and quality of revenues that support SOX compliance efforts .
  • Identify and implement operational processes and internal control improvements as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with integration of FTI legal entities on to the new ERP platform.
  • Assist with business acquisition integrations, as needed.
  • Assist with the review of global revenue during the close period. Helping to prepare and review Global revenue correction entries when identified.
  • Assist with the review of global accelerators during the close period. Ensuring the complete and accurate posting of centralized processes and communicating to the segments when issues are identified.
  • Work with developers to build custom reporting to support increase speed and efficiency of revenue close process.
  • Serve as liaison between the revenue segments and the IT program managers for our consolidated reserve management tool.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university in the United States
  • CPA required
  • 6+ years post graduate experience in public company or corporate environment
  • Experience with multi-currency consolidations and reporting, cash flow, intercompany reconciliations, purchase accounting or significant relevant audit experience
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building project plans and directing teams across the organization
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to influence decision making at all levels in the IT, finance and accounting organization
  • Strong management experience with proven track record of managing resources, developing departmental capability, and restructuring work streams to increase or improve productivity and career advancement
  • Experience with SQL, Power Query, or Salesforce
  • Experience in preparation and automation of management reports and financial variance analysis
