About the Role

We provide innovative solutions that optimize performance and mitigate risk in the short term and prepare for future strategic, operational, financial and legal challenges unique to our healthcare and life sciences clients.

What You'll Do

  • Perform analysis, design, and implementation of custom solutions across product development, supply chain and manufacturing, quality, regulatory, commercial, and compliance, working collaboratively with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
  • Lead execution of projects, responsible for the overall project and end products while guiding and developing individual team members.
  • Work with clients and project leaders to effectively leverage and implement change management strategies and guide the client through transformation efforts.

Business Development
  • Participate in business development with prospective and current clients including solution definition, proposals, presentations, project planning, pricing estimates, and budgeting.
  • Participate in key client relationships and growing those relationships
  • Inform and present to clients and FTI internally about industry trends, new solutions and technology and their application within healthcare and life sciences

  • Build and cultivate client relationships while expanding the FTI Healthcare and Life Sciences client portfolio.
  • Actively develop your professional network
  • Manage risks and utilize creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Lead client and selected FTI personnel to influence team direction.
  • Grow subject matter expertise and experience in areas that align with your personal interests and passion.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or sciences; advanced degree, MBA, Ph.D., JD preferred
  • 10+ years of business management or consulting experience
  • Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to product development, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, commercial, and compliance, etc.
  • Expertise in pharmaceuticals, medtech, and biotech industry sectors
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Aptitude for business development to secure consulting engagements
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate complex ideas and risks with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements across multiple projects due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables and evolving task priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed.
