RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor all MEL and Deferred Maintenance Items, coordinating the timely compliance with MX Control.
  • Coordinate material and tooling requirements.
  • Accurately estimate manpower that is required to completed scheduled maintenance.
  • Monitor staffing levels and make recommendations on needed changes.
  • Effective schedule and coordination of internal support services (avionics, sheet metal, NDT, etc.) as required.
  • Optimize MX Control to achieve the highest level of safety and accuracy.
  • Be a member of the airline CASS Board
  • Complete team performance evaluations as required.
  • Working with other operational areas to execute the plan within budget constraints.
  • Support efforts of the Quoting and Sales teams in the performance of their duties.
  • Monitor safe work practices, environmental compliance, and proper housekeeping
  • Performs other duties has required by leadership.


Qualifications

  • Be at least 23 years of age
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft suite of products including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must also have a basic understanding of similar soft wares.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license required
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to maintenance and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • 10 years of experience supporting Part 121 and/or Part 135 aircraft operations.
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft, manuals, maintenance programs, procedures.
  • Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management preferred.
  • Able to pass an FAA required 10 year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • 4-year degree in an aviation discipline
  • Detailed working knowledge of Quantum, FOS, and CAMP software is preferred
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work with confidential materials and information.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be a visionary with ability to clearly see the need for change, and then revise processes or procedures and ultimately implement revisions as needed
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Be able to communicate information and recommendations to non-technical
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and w illing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
