Summary of Essential Duties:

Lead and develop the Airport Operations Department including:
  • Oversight of all Airport Operations field locations, station managers, and team members. This includes, but is not limited to, visiting locations, coaching & counseling of station personnel, adjusting staffing levels as needed, assisting with the filling of vacant positions, creating & maintaining departmental budgets, administration of fuel & winter operations programs, development and implementation of division safety initiatives, etc.
  • Oversight of all ground support equipment
  • Oversight for all catering and cleaning services.
  • Oversight and development of all training and regulatory compliance. Ensure that all qualifications and training of the Airport Operations personnel are maintained.
  • Provide oversight and direction to airport operations team members in accordance with Company policies & procedures and federal regulations.
  • Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development and training opportunities.
  • Working with station managers in maintaining employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations, cover for planned/unplanned absenteeism, and overtime.

Oversight of the Contour Reservations and Customer Care Departments:
  • Provide oversight and direction to airport operations team members in accordance with Company policies & procedures.
  • Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development and training opportunities.
  • Coaching and counseling of department personnel.
  • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations, cover for planned/unplanned absenteeism, and overtime

Serve as liaison with the TSA, FAA, and other regulatory agencies.

Administer employee uniform programs.

Maintain thorough knowledge of policies and processes pertaining to unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, hazardous materials, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain thorough knowledge of Contours Drug & Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program and complete yearly management supervisor training to be a trained observer.

Complete required reports and audits to satisfy Company and regulatory requirements.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Possess driver license and have a good driving record.
  • Able to lift at least 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred
  • Call Center experience preferred
  • Finance background preferred.
  • At least 5-years experience in a key airport leadership role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel and be away from home for multiple days.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and related software.
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check .
  • Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Pass the required DOT Pre-Employment drug screening and completed random DOT drug and alcohol testing as required.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekend, and holidays.
