Summary of Essential Duties:

• Develop and maintain Aircraft Operating Manual, aircraft checklists, aircraft performance manuals, aircraft de-icing programs, manufacturers aircraft flight and operations manuals
• Develops aircraft specific full in-house pilot flight training program
• Monitoring manufacturer publications affecting the operation of the aircraft
• Makes timely operational recommendations to company executives and other divisions
• Coordinate and track development and revisions of Program manuals
• Develops and implements Flight Operations initiatives
• Coordination between Chief Pilot Office, Flight Standards, Flight Training and Safety Divisions
• Execute safety risk management and perform safety assurance following Safety Management System (SMS) principles
• Attend industry conferences
• Maintain monthly line currency
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 23 years of age.
• Type-rated CL-65 Pilot-in-Command with extensive P121/135 experience
• C urrent 1 st Class Medical
• Experience with desktop publishing tools and word processing (i.e., Microsoft Word and Adobe)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience and/or knowledge in software/hardware relevant to the essential functions of this job description
• Must possess the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and with little instruction
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
• Bachelors Degree in Aviation or equivalent experience preferred
• Aviation and/or Airline experience, demonstrating a technical understanding of aviation training and operations preferred
• Advanced Simulator Training and Checking Experience preferred
• Line Check Pilot Experience preferred
• Designated Examiner Experience preferred
• Leadership and/or project management experience preferred
• Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
• Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Knowledgeable of dispatch and crew scheduling systems such as FOS, Sabre, CCS, and Crew Trac.
• Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check.
• Able to pass a DOT Pre-Employment drug screening and submit to random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Must understand, read, and write English.
• Be able to communicate maintenance information and recommendations to non-technical personnel in an informative manner.
• Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
