Summary of Essential Duties:
  • Liaise with and oversee all QA and QC Inspectors
  • Liaise with the FAA as required to ensure the repair station continues compliance with the FAA regulations, as well as other government regulatory agencies such as EASA, etc.
  • Oversee inspectors preforming inspection/evaluations on all received components, performing in process, on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the repair station and 135 operations are completed and executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
  • Determine that all technical data on articles inspected, overhauled or repaired by the repair station are kept current with latest revisions.
  • Assure that all tools and precision equipment requiring calibration are calibrated at the required intervals.
  • Oversee the final acceptance through receiving inspections of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies, and the airworthiness of articles.
  • Assure that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used are available to all personnel.
  • Assure that the technicians properly execute complete logbook entries, forms and work orders.
  • Work directly with customers as needed to meet their airworthiness needs.
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
  • Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
  • Oversee technical records.
  • Manage the training of all maintenance personnel.
  • Manage the CASS/Reliability function
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications

  • Airframe and Powerplant license required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to maintenance and procedures.
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft, manuals, maintenance programs, procedures.
  • Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management preferred
  • 10 years of experience supporting aircraft for a 121/135 operations and 145 repair station is desired.
  • Detailed working knowledge of Component Controls Quantum software
  • Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, inventory software, and tracking systems.
  • Previous management experience with direct reports in a 24/7 operations preferred
  • Able to pass an FAA required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
  • Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Valid driver license and good driving record.
