About the Role
In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring organization, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
Our Business Transformation, Transactions Services team helps our clients across the entire life cycle by bringing our on-point industry and deal expertise to conduct due diligence, integrate, value, and provide key communications around all aspects of the transaction. Our team offers competitive advice and support by evaluating the risk/return considerations in all stages of the deal continuum.

What You'll Do
The Senior Consultant will collaborate with our clients and internal project teams across the entire deal life cycle. You will use your strategic style, cross-functional expertise, and deal skills to:
- Perform industry and company research utilizing internet searches, commercial reports, client data, and interviews.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate both historical and forecasted firm performance
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
- Provide support to maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues.
- Assist in preparation of proposals.
- Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years' experience performing diligence, experience performing commercial due diligence is strongly desired
- Analytically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct detailed research on products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in an ever-changing environment to meet client needs
- Comfort with qualitative and quantitative aspects of business problems; with the ability to link business strategy to performance and due diligence findings
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience assessing data in a data room
- Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations
- Experience using Think-Cell, Tableau, or other data visualization software/tools
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
- COVID Vaccine required*
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the financial due diligence process and financial modeling.
- Experience using SQL
