Summary of Essential Duties:
- Assist IT team with updating PC operating systems.
- Diagnose PC / printer/ phone / equipment / software issues and resolve as required.
- Maintain inventory of PC and peripheral hardware.
- Assist with the deployment and support of software.
- Provide technical support for computer and software related issues.
- Provide technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits.
- Manage helpdesk tickets using our ticketing system.
- Respond to IT issues with a sense of urgency and facilitate communications between IT and company employees to resolve issues.
- Set up equipment for new users.
- Experience with Active Directory to manage user accounts and password resets.
- Monitor network and application access.
- Assist with Servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- College degree in Information Systems or equivalent desired.
- Prior experience in computer science, information systems, or related field is preferred.
- Possess valid driver license and maintain a good driving record.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. Competency with internet navigation is also required.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, etc. Ability to work on-call when required.
- Must understand, read, and write English.
- Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
- Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
- Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism
- Able to pass an FAA required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
- CompTIA certification or other related IT professional certification is a plus but not required
- 3 to 5 years previous experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
