Summary of Essential Duties

  • Managing the repair and overhaul of Contour's rotable aircraft parts.
  • Issue repair orders and/or warranty-claims in Quantum to ensure timely turnaround.
  • Maintain repair order files.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintain activities associated with the individual component repair and overhaul and/or replacements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all necessary component repairs are completed by our vendors, in a timely manner.
  • Analyze all repair quotes to ensure accuracy and drive the Contour internal approval process on repair orders, as necessary.
  • Review schedule of inbound rotable parts and assigned repair vendors. Follow up with Vendors on any delays and make recommendations regarding additional deferrals or expedites based on real-time part demands.
  • Ensure proper documentation is kept on file for each repair order or warranty claim.
  • Track and expedite repair orders and/or warranty claims with vendors/suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage minimum serviceable rotable pool levels for assigned parts.
  • Transfer supplier quotes to ERP system (Quantum).
  • Manage outstanding cores due back to vendors, including contacting outstations and other locations where cores may be held or delayed.
  • Produce and maintain the weekly core report.
  • Lead weekly core-report meeting.
  • Review and engage management and inventory planning on delays, deferrals, PO/RO postponements, etc.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve price or work-scope discrepancies,
  • Contact vendor with discrepancies for resolution.
  • Complete vendor questionnaires and performance surveys
  • Manage and track tools requiring calibration.
  • Help picking, issuing, receiving, & shipping as needed in the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Must understand, read, and write English. Ability to understand, read, and write Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Prior aviation experience preferred
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States
  • Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook inventory software, and tracking systems
  • Prior experience with Component Controls Quantum software preferred
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Experience in a warehouse setting, working with shipping and/or receiving.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
