Summary of Essential Duties
- Communicate; work effectively and professionally with Shop Supervisor, Component Shop Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Service Manager, Parts Personnel, and Management to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Effectively manage Shops Manager, Avionics Manager, and Retail Service Manager.
- Interface daily with Crew Chiefs and Service Managers to ensure a smooth and efficient project performance that meets deadlines and schedules.
- Monitor Maintenance Technician staffing levels to ensure scheduled work is able to be completed effectively.
- Provide, or assist in, quarterly performance reviews when required.
- Ensure executive management is providing effective and proper communication.
- Monitory and report on project and team performance to Crew Chiefs and Management.
- Monitor safe work practices, environmental compliance, and proper housekeeping.
- Ensure company GMM and RSMQCM procedures are being followed by all technicians.
- Ensure maintenance facilities are kept clean and orderly at all times.
- Develop procedures, and/or assist in, developing procedures to increase efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Direct Crew Chief meetings to ensure any potential issues related to projects are being addressed.
- Responsible for hiring processes for all Crew Chiefs and Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Be at least 23 years of age.
- 10 years experience supporting aircraft for a 121/135 operations and 145 repair station is desired
- Hold a FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- 4 year degree in aviation discipline.
- Detailed working knowledge of Quantum.
- Prior leadership experience and/or role in business management is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to maintenance and procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft, manuals, maintenance programs, and procedures.
- Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
- Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
- Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and related software.
- Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check.
- Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and thereafter submit to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
- Must understand, read, and write English.

- Be able to analyze the Company's maintenance business, communicate the findings to the CEO/ Executive Vice President of Maintenance, and use the data to drive positive, meaningful change statistically and financially
- Be able to communicate maintenance information and recommendations to non-technical personnel in an informative manner.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
