Summary

This role is responsible for the generation of revenue associated with Topcon's vertical construction business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage existing high level Vertical dealers as well as develop opportunities with new distribution and large vertical accounts.
  • Implement and manage dealer awareness to Topcon efforts in VC and increase growth opportunities into a developing market.
  • Manage and implement complex business initiatives/strategies.
  • Dealer Sales
  • Dealer Training in Vertical
  • Dealer promotion in Vertical
  • Dealer Management and Territory Management
  • Growing Vertical Market Segment
  • Scanning Sales
  • Scanning Market knowledge
  • Write detailed management reports explaining current the business environment.
  • Develop MAP (Market Action Plans) by dealer to address the opportunities in the central region.
  • Explore new dealers in underserved markets


Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Business/Marketing/Economics.
  • 8 years experience minimum in the Vertical Sales experience.
  • 10 plus years in construction equipment sales as well as past involvement introducing new products to markets and sales channels.
  • Proven Sales track record within MEP/GC sales in Vertical construction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong motivational and interpersonal abilities. Microsoft Office products proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
  • Must have worked with/for an equipment manufacturer in the past and will ideally have backgrounds in both direct and channel sales.
  • This position will require skilled sales knowledge as well as the ability to operate Autodesk and other specific software associated with Vertical construction.
