About The Role

The success of a trial often depends on presenting complex material in a clear, concise and persuasive manner. The FTI Trial Arbitration Services team includes communications consulting experts who specialize in a wide range of visual communications consulting and graphics development, as well as presentation of demonstratives in the courtroom. Our consultants select the most appropriate presentation formats to maximize impact and memorability, and then create persuasive graphic presentations that support, clarify and emphasize the key themes of a case.

What You'll Do
  • Produce graphic exhibits for courtroom, client and marketing presentations including PowerPoint graphics, animation and board graphics
  • Work with lead consultants to develop persuasive presentations with impact that support case themes
  • Work with lead consultants and clients in on-site production environment to provide graphics support at trial
  • Be the primary visual communications consulting client contact for engagements, with overall responsibility for client satisfaction with client service delivery and work product (for graphics)
  • Develop a compelling visual communications plan supporting case themes and tailored to clients' specific needs
  • Work in close partnership with trial technology and jury consultants to pursue engagement opportunities and serve clients as part of a seamless team
  • Help develop and execute strategy to grow the Trial Services practice (comprised of graphics, trial technology and jury consulting) on a local and national level
  • Work in close partnership with FTI colleagues in other practices to cross-sell services and recognize opportunities to expand FTI's involvement in Trial Services engagements
  • Achieve target utilization and target revenue origination goals (level dependent)
  • Travel as required to attend client meetings and staff on-site engagements

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-years work experience creating business-related graphics presentations using PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience in visual communications consulting in the legal industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading people in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and other current design software
  • Excellent communication skills - visual, written and verbal
  • Flexibility - ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
  • COVID Vaccine required*

Preferred Skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years work experience creating business, information design and PowerPoint presentations in a corporate, legal or professional services environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to support close interaction with external clients
  • Strong design and computer skills
  • Expert PowerPoint skills with Illustrator and Photoshop on the PC platform
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Ability to travel 30% - 50% of the time and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes
  • Flexibility in taking direction and developing work product that conforms to project constraints
  • Accurate, efficient and consistent performance in demanding, deadline driven situations
  • Experience working with Flash and 3D modeling/animation
  • Willingness to learn presentation technology to promote flexibility to provide multiple services at trial sites
