In this role, you will primarily be assigned to work at mobile health units and community centers, providing comprehensive medical care to patients. InGenesis is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to work with our client. In this role, you will primarily be assigned to work at mobile health units and community centers, providing comprehensive medical care to patients. This role requires travel to various clinical sites throughout Harris County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients at mobile health units and community centers.
- Travel to various clinical sites throughout Harris County as required.
- Perform specific duties and specialties based on assignments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement programs and continuing education.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree as an Advanced Practice Provider - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Licensed to practice in Texas as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an outpatient clinical/medical setting.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience working in family planning medical clinics.
- Bilingual skills in another language in addition to English (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic).
