Job Duties:
- Evaluate patients through interviews, medical histories, and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications.
- Provide psychotherapy and other therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in psychiatry and mental health.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine degree in Psychiatry, board eligible or board certified.
- Current licensure in good standing with the appropriate licensing agency and regulatory board.
- Compliance with multi-state privilege requirements, if applicable.
- No disciplinary actions or monitoring agreements that restrict practice across state lines.
- No reports to the Board for practice issues or misconduct.
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Registration.
- Valid Texas driver license.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
