Job Description:

InGenesis is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) candidates to work with our client. In this role, you will provide safe and compassionate nursing care for patients of Harris County Public Health (HCPH).

Job Duties:

• Support medical providers with exams, procedures, medication administration, and emergency responses.
• Conduct patient screenings (e.g., blood draws, urine tests, vital signs, vision, and hearing assessments).
• Review and prioritize lab results, ensuring abnormal values are documented and reviewed.
• Manage patient flow during clinic visits and provide patient education.
• Maintain medical inventory and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
• Perform quality checks on lab specimens and prepare them for transport.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or diploma in Nursing
• One (1) year of experience as an LVN in an outpatient clinic setting
• Current licensure as an LVN in the State of Texas by the Texas Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
• Must have a valid Driver's License (TX upon hire)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and navigating EMRs
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
