InGenesis is currently seeking Transfusion Specialists to work with our client. In this role, you will work alongside top healthcare professionals, utilize the latest technologies, and contribute directly to the fight against cancer.
Job Duties
- Perform lab tests specific to your section.
- Stay updated on all policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure quality control data is accurate.
- Maintain competency in all test methods.
- Monitor workflow and turnaround times.
- Stay informed about regulatory standards in Transfusion Medicine.
- Maintain computer skills for lab functions.
- Complete and report tests promptly.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulatory mandates.
- Be responsible and accountable for your actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related science field or Molecular Genetic Technology.
- Successful completion of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) accredited Clinical Laboratory Science/Molecular Genetic Technology program.
- MLS or BB-ASCP certification.
- SBB - Specialist in Blood Banking certification.
