Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to work for our client. In this role, you will support our Project Management Information System (PMIS) financial data migration initiative. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data transferred from legacy systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting and financial analysis skills to audit, clean, and validate complex project cost data.

Key Responsibilities

Data Preparation:
  • Clean, organize, and verify project cost data extracted from legacy systems (Sage 300/Timberline, PeopleSoft) and staged in Microsoft Access.
  • Accurately map data to Oracle Primavera Unifier Business Processes including fund appropriations, budgets, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and applications for payment.

Data Validation:
  • Review and validate project cost data loaded into Oracle Unifier to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Monitor migration processes and identify anomalies or errors.

Reconciliation & Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze project cost data using tools such as Timberline, PeopleSoft, OBIEE, MS Access, and Excel.
  • Support the preparation of reconciliation reports between legacy and new systems.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, and Oracle Financials.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare or government environment.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Unifier and construction accounting systems.
