About the Role

The Talent Development (TD) Sr. Associate is part of FTI's Global Talent Development organization within the global Human Resources practice. This position will report to FTI's Talent Development Operations Manager and be responsible for all Coordination and project management activities that go into executing our Talent Development courses, webinars, North America, and global programs. These programs target all levels of employees, functional areas and geographies to build the requisite skills for professionals to deliver business results today and in the future. The Talent Development Operations Sr. Associate leads learning program logistics and collects, compiles and analyzes data for FTI Consulting talent development program evaluations. In this role you will also be required to provide regular reporting on our global classes and maintain the Talent Development intranet pages. This position requires the ability to anticipate project needs, discern priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision. The Talent Development Operations Sr. Associate provides support across a variety of learning modalities including classroom training, virtual training, and e-learning self-studies. Ambitious self-starter with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers. What You'll Do

Support all the operations and logistics for our annual North America and global programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including:

o Ability to lead small and large training events, to include: • Creating communications on upcoming Talent Development events

• Setting up courses, classes, and monitoring registrations in our Learning Management System (LMS)

• Managing training calendars

• Partnering with and managing vendor relationships

• Coordinating with Procurement on vendor contracts

• Managing inventory

• Keeping all stakeholders updated on program/course participation (i.e. instructors, Global Talent Development Managing Director, segment leads, HR POC's, etc...)

• Maintaining all course materials, and documentation necessary to ensure NASBA compliance

• Conducting follow up course evaluations to determine effectiveness training program, course material, and delivery

• Regular reporting

• Maintaining Talent Development intranet pages

o Host online webinars for new hire orientation, professional development programs, and more o Troubleshoot issues through to resolution, respond to phone inquiries and emails/support tickets o Support the TD Operations Manager in managing the TD budget by tracking program expenditures and partnering with Finance on monthly program spend o Partner with HR POC's to ensure communication flow with the business segments o Provide recommendations on process improvement areas, and help create and maintain documented processes and procedures to ensure standardization o Create marketing and communications for upcoming TD programs for various audiences, using the appropriate internal communication and media outlets o Work with other teams and functions on various TD related projects as necessary o Maintain knowledge of TD technologies and event planning by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies. Introduce applicable trends in talent and development for inclusion in overall strategy. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2 years working in professional services environment • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word)
PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word).
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Proficient in SharePoint
  • Experience in event coordination for offsite and onsite learning and development programs.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (Saba a plus)
  • Familiarity with creating evaluations and assessing impact (knowledge of Qualtrics is a plus)
  • Project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and create project plans for large events
  • Financial acumen: ability to manage invoices, and process payments while adhering to budget.
  • Superb oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in coordinating training programs, such as managing registration, program and event management.
  • Strong business acumen and consultative skills; ability to influence others at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth oriented and matrixed organizational environment where independence, flexibility and adaptability are required.
  • Experience in using WebEx, Skype and hosting webinars.
  • Must be comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-based dynamic environment.
  • Team-orientated.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services
