Site Safety Coordinator

Overview
The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for Supporting the Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses to ensure the teams are operating in according to OSHA guidelines.
The Site Safety Coordinator focus is on delivering World Class Customer Experience and Quality. They are integral to the account team and is key in building the trusted relationship with the customer.
The individual reports into a business Unit's Operation Manager.

Salary Rate $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Per Year (Vaccination is required)
Responsibilities
• Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate effectiveness of safety programs through daily field observations. Provide regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
• Submitting job site inspection reports of findings, and corrective actions, in a timely manner.
• Meet regularly with field personnel and support in the development of project specific corrective action plans to address safety issues and concerns.
• Provide regular feedback to project leadership in a constructive manner on needed areas for safety improvement and recognition.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors and provide recognition for employees exhibiting safe behaviors.
• Assist with delivery of job-site specific safety orientations for new employees joining the project, as applicable.
• Assist and co-facilitate safety training, testing for all employees (Haz-Com, Fall Protection, Permit-Required Confined-Space, Aerial Lift, etc.)
• Support Project Leadership in completion of incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Facilitate all injury/illness cases.
• Conducts investigations of incidents/near misses and determine corrective action plans; exercises judgement and takes decisive actions/appropriate actions as needed.
• Perform periodic evaluations of power tools and equipment to ensure equipment is being maintained in good working order, as applicable.
• Monitor and evaluate Partner compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and project safety requirements.
• Support Project Leadership in the development and execution of weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Attend and evaluate pre-job briefings/JTHAs each morning for thoroughness.
• Audit for continuity of topics to be discussed.
• Provide PPE to jobsites and crews that include cut-resistant glove and sleeve change-outs as required.
• Understands critical importance of both customer experience and customer service.
• Proactive and professional communication with internal and external customers.
• Highly organized, and effective with personal time management.
• Sound verbal skills.
• Sound written skills.
• Effective working in team situations as a contributing or leading member.
• Versatile in performing different tasks; very resourceful.

Qualifications
• BS degree in Safety
• OHSA 30 Certificate Requires
• Sound familiarity with Construction Industry Safety Requirements.
• Must be knowledgeable with MS Word and an email application such as MS Office.
• Must obtain a Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to travel to Job Sites and attend meeting as Assigned.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Construction Industry in a Safety Role.
