Overview

The Regional Manager provides leadership and direction to Vision Technologies Datacenter Business Unit Project Management team. In this role you are responsible for delivery of our products and services in a professional manner to all customers. Success is measured by on time delivery, meeting, or exceeding profit goals, maximizing utilization of resources, and receiving ongoing work and referrals from customers when work is completed. Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and best practices to the Datacenter project management team to ensure objectives are met individually and collectively for the team. Candidate must have the ability to manage, lead, and build strong relationships. This position requires financial and operational experience along with the ability to be a strategic leader.

The individual reports to the Datacenter Business Unit Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accountable for the revenue growth and profitability of the Datacenter business unit.
• Joint Ownership of the Datacenter P&L with the Business Unit Manager
• Provide coaching and direction to the Datacenter project management team to meet objectives.
• Review, assign, and manage execution of contracts to 100% completion.
• Find creative ways to optimize capital and increase operational efficiencies in delivery.
• Insure and validate 100% world class customer service and quality for all engagements.
• Ability to analyze market trends and align service delivery models to meet demand.
• Sales support from lead development and qualification through the development of bid and win strategies.
• Develop growth strategy to support new market opportunities in Datacenter presentation, collaboration, and unified communications.
• Alignment with key channel partners in support of strategic initiatives.
• Ensure all assigned OTRs (Objectives, Targets, Results) for the Project Managers are complying.
• Active participation in CFR discussions.
• Ensure the Project Managers are in conformance to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years' experience managing senior program managers and entry-level project managers as well as field delivery staff.
• Operational experience in the delivery of large-scale Datacenter Presentation and Collaboration projects is preferred.
• Experience in delivery of network centric technologies for voice, video, and data preferred.

• Above average proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Project and Excel
• PMP /or other Industry certifications are preferred, but not required.
• 4-year College degree with concentration in Business and economics. Additional work experience is acceptable.
