ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The FTI Consulting Talent Development Manager will be part of FTI's dynamic Global Human Resources practice. This position will report into FTI's Director, Global Talent Development (TD) . This role will be responsible for leading all project management activities relating to the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects to achieve the learning goals for the segments this position supports, Global Talent Development, as well as FTI Consulting's overall strategic priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:
    • Manage the project lifecycle of all setups, execution and logistics for our annual global programs as well as other Talent Development projects to ensure successful execution of these events/projects, to include:
    • Create overall event project plans to include a comprehensive communication plan
    • Create registration sites and web app for on-stie programs
    • Partner with and manage vendor relationships
    • Coordinate with internal Procurement team on vendor contracts where necessary
    • Keep all stakeholders updated on program/course participation (i.e., instructors, Global Talent Development VP, segment leads, HR POC's, etc...)
    • Partner and consult with the business to identify specific employee learning needs, and develop a plan that will fulfill these needs to include:
    • Support the annual demand planning process and create a schedule that will balance the requirements throughout the year
    • Curate eLearning content as needed by the segments
    • Transfer knowledge on existing system capabilities
    • Create or modify learning tracks
    • Schedule on-site or virtual training sessions
    • Partner with our Talent Development Solutions team to develop course content
    • Partner with vendors to deliver niche training
    • Set up courses, classes, and monitor registrations in our Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Create training invitations and ad-hoc communications
    • Use experience and creativity to implement process improvements
    • Maintain all course materials, and documentation necessary to ensure NASBA compliance
    • Monitor and respond to training requests
    • Manage events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of 4 years working in professional services environment
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word).
    • Intermediate project planning skills
    • Experience with event planning and on-site event coordination
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently to achieve business objectives
    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
    • Strong business acumen and consultative skills
    • Ability to travel when we have on-sight programs (NY and DC)
    • Travel required to FTI office(s).

PREFERRED SKILLS:
    • Project management professional (PMP) or similar certification
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth oriented and matrixed organizational environment where independence, flexibility and adaptability are required
    • Must be comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-based dynamic environment
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in professional services
    • Knowledge of Saba
    • Experience with Smart sheets or other project management applications
    • Preferred experience in Cvent event management application
