About the Role

FTI Consulting's Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) services leverage data science and data analytics to assist clients in solving their most complex challenges. TMT's data analytics capabilities operate within an international Center of Excellence (CoE) on engagements spanning strategy consulting, business transformation, and transactions.

What You'll Do

A member of TMT's Data Analytics CoE is ultimately responsible for transforming data into business insights leveraging advanced analytics.
  • Develop and manage database systems from large datasets
  • Assist in defining data requirements for various efforts
  • Identify appropriate analytics for the state scope of work
  • Perform quantitative and statistical analyses and conduct studies as required by internal and external clients
  • Utilize geographic information systems to analyze spatial relationships within and between networks
  • Derive business insights from analytics work to solve the client's business needs
  • Communicate findings with clients and external stakeholders including presentation preparation

We leverage advanced data analytics capabilities to deliver original insights that help clients better understand company performance, customer behavior, digital substitution, emerging technologies, evolving trends and industry norms. Over the last 20+ years we have assisted in thousands of engagements for hundreds of the largest companies in the TMT space.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Econometrics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Systems Engineering (or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience with analytical software, including databases, spreadsheets, geographical information systems, Python, R, SAS, SQL, etc.
  • Experience working with distributed processing
  • Experience in building descriptive/predictive/prescriptive models
  • The ability to communicate succinctly both orally and in writing
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices

Colorado Pay Range: $99,000-$154,000

This pay range is only applicable to roles being performed in the state of Colorado. If selected for this role, your compensation will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your education, skill set, level of experience and job level. Candidates should not expect to be paid at or near the top end of the range upon hire, however offers are entirely dependent on the candidate's experience. Note that this pay range is a reasonable estimate of what FTI would anticipate to pay for this role but is not guaranteed.
