About the Role

The Corporate Marketing team has a new opportunity to support FTI Consulting's key marketing programs across the firm and is looking for a collaborative, highly motivated individual that wants to exercise their entrepreneurial spirit in the workplace. The Associate, Corporate Marketing will be responsible for coordinating initiatives for FTI's dynamic global marketing programs by managing and supporting a variety of projects ranging from global campaigns to infrastructure improvement to special projects.

The ideal candidate for this role will have first-hand experience project managing marketing campaigns from planning through to reporting. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects using project management tools like Asana, coordinating activities between cross-functional team members, and providing relevant updates to stakeholders will be valuable. The ability to work collaboratively, set priorities, communicate clearly, and take proactive steps to advance project objectives is critical to success.

What You'll Do

The Associate, Corporate Marketing role will report into the Manager of Corporate Marketing and duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating closely with the Manager to project manage and facilitate coordination of key cross-functional marketing campaigns, crafting call agendas, taking detailed notes and following up on action items and deliverables.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, content, segment marketing teams, data governance, and technical teams, to gather requirements and align project goals.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for project-related communication, providing regular updates to stakeholders, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
  • Developing a consistent project intake process and managing a project tracker that provides visibility across the collective marketing activities.
  • Monitoring and analyzing project performance metrics and conduct retrospectives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with the digital and creative teams to find ways to streamline processes and help coordinate large-scale, multi-tiered projects and campaigns (i.e., OGC external campaign, Corporate Sustainability Report, etc.).
  • Assisting the Senior Associate, Corporate Events with the production and execution of our QuickPitch series, building communications campaigns and setting up Zoom webinars.
  • Assisting with project management of corporate branded merchandise program, checking store inventories, acting as a liaison for order questions and using creative skills to think of new product ideas.
  • Assisting with the implementation of a project management system for the corporate marketing and communications teams that allows for a clear view into the projects taking place across the business.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate Events Team to support events, conferences and sponsorship opportunities (both virtual and in-person) from contract execution and project planning to post-event follow-up:
  • Researching speaking opportunities and sponsorships and vet against criteria to determine expected lead generation, brand awareness, and general investment value.
  • Coordinating internally with marketing teams and consulting professionals as well as external vendors, conference organizers, etc.
  • Managing pre- and post-event communications and debrief with attending professionals for feedback, leads, and opportunities.
  • Maintaining calendar of global events and track due dates and deliverables.
  • Constantly seeking out ways to improve workstreams and increase team efficiencies.
  • Acting as a resource for campaign management and execution for segment marketing teams as needed, including, but not limited to, formatting and proofing client pitches, coordinating collateral creation, and facilitating the creation of internal and external communications through Knak, Splash and Eloqua.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s)asneeded
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; FTI Consulting will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Preferred Skills
  • 1+ years' related internship or full-time post-graduate professional experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills
  • Some project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders with different points of view and expertise areas
  • Experience using email management/distribution platform preferred (i.e., Knak, Eloqua)
