About the Role
FTI Consulting's Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) services leverage programming skills and data processing to assist clients in solving their most complex challenges. TMT's data analytics capabilities operate within an international Center of Excellence (CoE) on engagements spanning strategy consulting, business transformation, and transactions.
What You'll Do
A member of TMT's Data Analytics CoE is ultimately responsible for transforming data into business insights leveraging advanced analytics.

What You'll Do
A member of TMT's Data Analytics CoE is ultimately responsible for transforming data into business insights leveraging advanced analytics.
- Develop and manage database systems from large datasets
- Create, review, and modify source code across a variety of languages
- Assist in defining data requirements for various efforts
- Identify appropriate analytics for the state scope of work
- Perform quantitative and statistical analyses and conduct studies as required by internal and external clients
- Utilize geographic information systems to analyze spatial relationships within and between networks
- Derive business insights from analytics work to solve the client's business needs
- Communicate findings with clients and external stakeholders including presentation preparation

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Econometrics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or other related field.
- Ability to travel to clients and to FTI offices as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying end-user requirements and specifications
- Experience with project management and application design
- Experience with various integrated design environments
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software
- Experience in developing technical documentation
- Experience with analytical software, including databases, spreadsheets, geographical information systems, Python, R, SAS, SQL, C++, etc.
- Experience in web development, PHP, and building front-end dashboards
