Senior Accountant, North America Core Accounting

About the Role
The Senior Accountant will focus on the reporting and analysis of financial results and assist with financial planning for various corporate infrastructure departments within the organization. The position will also support North America Core Accounting Manager in other monthly close processes and Ad hoc projects. This person will report to the NACA Director and will closely interact with financial system support and senior management from various corporate departments. What You'll Do
• Prepare monthly management review report package for Corporate to analyze and explain variances between actual results and budget/forecasts.
• Assist with Annual Budget and Quarterly re-forecast updates for corporate departments.
• Assist with quarterly corporate allocations updates and review allocation entries.
• Prepare consolidated analysis reports and presentations on budget, forecast and actuals.
• Interface with Financial system support team to maintain and update reporting hierarchy in TM1.
• Prepare monthly entries and consolidated roll-forwards for Severance activities.
• Assist with periodic audit request and preparation of 10Q and 10K disclosures as assigned.
• Analyze key corporate spending activities including but not limited to: Investment spend, Payroll, Severance etc.
• Reconcile various payroll withholding accounts, closely interact with payroll team to resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare recurring payroll reclass entries and other recurring journal entries as assigned.
• Assist with other Ad hoc reporting and projects for corporate accounting processes. How You'll Grow
This position will work on our North America Core Accounting team, which provides accounting support to our client service professionals across all segments. In this role, you will get to closely interact with senior management from various corporate departments, and analyst key corporate spending activities.
Basic Qualifications
• BS/BA in Accounting
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate environment
• Excellent working knowledge of PC and network environments and advanced knowledge of Excel required; experience with IBM Cognos TM1 or similar reporting software preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in P&L analysis and understanding of GAAP
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) required to interact well with senior management and others from various levels
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks and prioritize in a fast-pace environment
• High level of attention to detail
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Experience working with both domestic and international operating units preferred
