The purpose of this role is to maintain the on-time crank machining with a primary focus on quality, safety, and organization of workstations.

This position directly reports to the Machining Supervisor.
5. EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.

6. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, and power tools)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of quality control procedures
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
- Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
- Use precision tools to measure and assist in the machining of the cranks using power, manual tools and precision machining equipment.
- Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
- Ensure that all cranks are machined to the correct value.
- Read and set up micrometers.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
- Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
- Maintain a "Tour Ready" work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on machining cranks. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, cleaning chemicals, coolant, and dust. Equipment and Machinery used within this department is as follows but not limited to the following: • Hoists • Conveyors • Hand Tools • Drill machines • Balancer • Welder • Grinders • Polishers • High Pressure Wash • Torching • Pressurized Air |
