The purpose of this role is to maintain the on-time crank machining with a primary focus on quality, safety, and organization of workstations.

To provide a quality product safely to our customers in a timely manner.

4. ORGANIZATIONAL POSITION

This position directly reports to the Machining Supervisor.

5. EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.

6. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Basic Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
• Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, and power tools)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of quality control procedures
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:

• Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
• Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
• Use precision tools to measure and assist in the machining of the cranks using power, manual tools and precision machining equipment.
• Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
• Ensure that all cranks are machined to the correct value.
• Read and set up micrometers.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
• Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
• Maintain a "Tour Ready" work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Excellent hand-eye coordination Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours Ability to lift engine components weighing 50 lbs. repeatability and 80 lbs. occasionally

This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on machining cranks. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, cleaning chemicals, coolant, and dust.
